A Few New Dining and Drink Deals to Check Out

There are some new weekly deals happening around the city, plus ShakeShack has launched a new series and Restaurant Week Autumn 2025 is in full swing. 

Side Street Veg Out Tuesday

Side Street has recently added a new weekly dining deal to their roster: Veg Out Tuesday. Available at both their Jiaodaokou and Jianguomen locations, you can enjoy 20 percent off all vegan dishes all day every Tuesday. From their delicious vegan burgers, like the Cheezy Beast Burger (RMB 88), which snagged them fourth place in our 2025 Veggie Burger Cup, to curries, a range of vegan appetizers and more, there's plenty to choose from!

ShakeShack's ShackMeister Craft Beer Series Returns

Today, ShakeShack has launched the return of their ShackMeister Craft Beer Series across all their branches. The new menu items include the Craft Beef Burger (RMB 57), Craft Hot Dog (RMB 39) and Craft Cheesy Fries (RMB 36). Each dish comes topped with craft beer-battered onion rings to give an added layer of rich, malty flavor and crunch. The burger sounds particularly enticing with an Angus beef patty layered with American cheddar cheese, their secret Shack Sauce and finished with the signature craft beer-battered onion rings.

Q MEX Ladies Night

Ladies, rejoice! Last week, Q MEX announced that Ladies Night will be returning to their Sanlitun branch every Friday. Starting from 9.30pm, ladies can get select cocktails for RMB 20 and Olmeca Tequila-based shots for RMB 10. You can check out more details in the poster below.

Restaurant Week Autumn 2025 is in Full Swing

Restaurant Week Autumn 2025 kicked off last week on Aug 27 and will continue running until Sep 29. As usual, participating restaurants will be offering exclusive menus at a special fixed price, with four price categories to choose from:

• Elite: Price determined by restaurants
• Category A: RMB 148 for lunch and RMB 298 for dinner
• Category B: RMB 118 for lunch and RMB 198 for dinner
• Category C: RMB 78 for lunch and RMB 118 for dinner

Restaurant Week Autumn 2025 is running now to Sep 29.
