The Road to the 2013 Burger Festival: How to Get to Beijing City International School

The Beijinger 2013 Burger Festival will be held tomorrow, Saturday, Aug 17, from 4-9pm at Beijing City International School 北京乐成国际学校 (BCIS). A RMB 50 admission ticket gets you one beer and one burger, and more burgers and beverages are available for purchase. Admission is free for children under 12. The 2013 Burger Cup winner will be determined by live voting taking place on the site, so come early and try as many burgers as possible.

Getting to BCIS is easy, see a map here. The address is 77 Baiziwan Nan Er Lu (百子湾南二路77号) in Shuangjing.

By subway: Take Line 10 to the Shuangjing station, then use the northwest exit. From there, walk north along the Third Ring Road side road for 200 meters, then turn right onto Baiziwan Nan Er Lu. Head east for 500 meters. BCIS will be on your left on the north side of the road.

By bus: BCIS is served by public buses including special route 5, and normal bus numbers, 30, 382, 486, 605, 621, 677, 715, 973, 985, and 988.

By private car, taxi, or bicycle: Look for Baiziwan Nan Er Lu on the east side of the Third Ring Road side road, almost directly across from Viva Mall, just north of the Shuangjing intersection, heading north. Alternatively, take Xi Dawang Lu 西大望路 south, and look for a large blue sign that says "Beijing City International School." Turn right there, and the school will be about 100 meters ahead.

If it rains, the event will be postponed to Sunday, Aug 18, at the same time and place. We will announce any changes via this website. See you there, and bring your appetite!
