Bar Games: Some Spots To Play Table Foosball in Beijing
In this installment of our Bar Games series, we're turning our attention to places with foosball tables in the capital. As it's a little cold at the moment to be playing the real sport, why not try your hand at spinning some tiny men instead?

Circle Urban
Last year, Circle Urban opened a new branch in Haidian inside the 1733 shopping mall, and this one is equipped with a foosball table! It's located on the right side of the bar near the entrance, and there is ample space on both sides of the table, so you don't need to worry about getting in the way of other customers. What's more, we recently learned that Circle Urban now has an electronic darts board and an old-school arcade game, so there is even more fun to have. Plus, once the warmer weather hits, Circle Urban will also set up a cornhole game outside, offering yet another game to try your hand at. Lastly, now that Line 12 is up and running, this branch is super easy to get to as it's conveniently situated right by Line 12’s Dazhong Shi station.

The Pool Bar
Despite the name, pool is not the only bar game on offer at The Pool Bar. This hutong bar on Gulou Dongdajie has not one but two foosball tables located upstairs tucked right next to where the staircase is. Open until the early hours, this bar is the ideal spot if you’re looking for a bit of late-night, casual fun. They have plenty of beer, cocktails and other drinks on offer, along with bar snacks if you’re feeling peckish.

The Corner Bistro
If you've been keeping an eye on these Bar Games posts, then you'll know that The Corner Bistro has a pool table, darts board and, to round it all off, a foosball table. This makes it a great spot if you're looking to spend a casual evening with friends playing a few different games. Here their foosball table also has plenty of room around it, so you don’t need to be jostling for space among tables or other patrons or be worried about accidentally upsetting someone’s drink.

Alpaca Yard
Alpaca Yard is a 24-hour amusement spot located near Langyuan Station that has not only multiple foosball tables but also KTV, claw machines, pool table, arcade games, game consoles, poker table, mahjong table and more. Plus, as you might have guessed from the name, it even has alpacas! This spot may perhaps be better suited to go to with a friend or group for an organized day or evening out rather than being a place to casually stop by for a few beers and some foosball, however it's also kid-friendly if you're looking for somewhere to entertain your little ones.

Smelly Cat
This Friends-themed café that opened up in Beijing at the end of last year has a foosball table as part of their partial replica of Joey and Chandler's apartment. It's not a full-sized table, and given that many people come here to take photos and might get in your way a lot, it's probably not the best place to play a proper game of foosball. But hey, if you are a Friends fan and looking for that Instagrammable photo, then this is the perfect place to go!
