Ladies' Night at Mosto
Ladies will be happy to hear that Mosto in Nali Patio has reinstated their popular Ladies' Night, and it's better value for money than ever. Head over on Thursdays, 5.30pm to close, for two hours of free-flow with the purchase of any dish, including house and sparkling wine. View the full details here.
Pebbles two-for-one drinks deals
Everyone's favorite Mexican purist restaurant in the capital, Pebbles, has launched a new range of two-for-one deals on select cocktails and shots. Head over any time during opening hours, Tue-Sun, 5-11pm, and bag yourself either BOGOF on classic margaritas (RMB 68), palomas (RMB 68), or Aha Toro Reposado shots (RMB 40). They've also recently stocked bottles of tepache (pictured above), a popular fermented beverage in Mexico made from the peel and the rind of pineapples and sweetened with sugar cane. Though tepache contains little to no alcohol, you can add a small amount of beer, as is customary in Mexico, to give it a little kick. Read more about the origins of this ancient drink here.
Jing-A XFC anniversary and official opening of the CBD brewpub
Jing-A has a busy weekend ahead of them with the simultaneous celebration of their Xingfucun venue's third anniversary as well as the grand opening of their newest CBD venue. With regards to the former, the team will selflessly open up the taps of their XFC brewery to Shenzhen's ET Brewery on Friday, who'll provide eight of their finest brews for RMB 35 a pop. Find all the details about their out-of-this-world brews here. Then on Saturday, things are bound to get loose with an all-day happy hour.
Meanwhile, over at their new CBD digs, the party will go something like this: all-day happy hour on Friday, 20 percent off all wines on Saturday, and finishing with a "tomahawk Sunday," featuring servings of the CBD venue's signature tomahawk steak (pictured above) alongside crispy roasted potatoes, English mustard, red wine jus, and mini-Yorkshire puddings, plus the first round of four beers on the house. Make sure to reserve before 5pm on Friday for your spot (details here), and if you missed our thoughts on Jing-A's latest location, check out our review here.
