Sunday 8th October at 8am the Beijing Golfer's group are playing at Orient Pearl Golf Club - a stunningly-beautiful course in the shadow of the mountains in north Beijing.

- The BGC welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced golfers

As the exclusive healthcare provider for the 2023 Beijing Marathon, Beijing United Family Hospital will provide medical support along the marathon route for the eight time. BJU will again be an official in-person registration channel for expat runners who want to participate in the marathon. Registration will open after the holiday with spots for you!

Come visit us from October 7 to 9 from 10 am to 4 pm to register. Follow the process below, read the important information section, and take part in this year's marathon! Beijing United Family Hospital is once again an official offline registration location for expats.

How to register：

1. Registration needs to be done in person from October 7 to 9. You can come to the atrium of Building 2 at Beijing United Family Hospital (2 Jiangtai Road) from 10 am to 4 pm to do so.

2. Bring your passport and proof that you have previously completed a marathon (digital is okay).

3. After you register, please join our UFH Runner's Group on WeChat where we will be sharing tips and holding some group runs.

Important information:

  Participants must be 20 years or older (born before December 31, 2003)

  You need to have completed a full marathon in under 6 hours or a half marathon in under 3 hours since 2019 and have a physical/digital certificate of it (online marathons don't count)

  Expat registration for the marathon will cost RMB200 and is paid once your registration is approved by the marathon organizers

The qualification of this competition is as follows:players under 6 years of age are not allowed to participate

In addition to the above restrictions, chess enthusiasts of all ages, men and women, can sign up

Players from Beijing and other provinces and cities outside Beijing can sign up for the competition.

VII. Methods of competition:

1. Adopt the latest competition rules approved by the China Chess Association.

2.Competition Grouping:Mixed Playfor Men.

3. The Swiss system is used, and the computer is arranged forseven rounds a day.

4. Duration:20 minutes per side plus 10 seconds per move.

5. About Record:No record is required, but the party who needs to present the three-time repeat situation or the 50-round rule must provide a complete record, otherwise the decision will not be accepted.

How to participate
· Use an app that can record your own running or walking route.
·Design your route (using map app is permitted): see how to create the shape
of P-E-A-C-E(5 letters) by walk or run.
· Complete the task with your friends or by yourself is both ok.
·And there is no strict limitation on how you do this, maybe you complete the
“PEACE” shape in one day or you may cooperate with others in relays, but a
complete “P-E-A-C-E “route map is a must.
· Upload your route map to your Weibo or WeChat Moments, with tag #GO
PEACE# or #International Day of Peace# to celebrate!
