Warm up With New Winter Specials at EAST, Beijing

Feeling the winter chill (especially is your central heating hasn't come on yet)? Never fear: throughout November, EAST, Beijing is offering a bevy of new food and drink options to warm you up from the inside out.

Domain

This winter, Domain has introduced a new winter menu featuring four special casseroles and four warm drinks, which are available for lunch and dinner. The casseroles include Mediterranean lamb with lemon and olives, Cantonese beef brisket with turnip, wild mushroom meatballs in creamy saffron sauce, and North Indian vegetable curry. With these dishes, you'll definitely be on top of your winter eating game.

In the mood for a warm drink? Sample one of Domain's four new hot drink specials, including traditional northern Chinese style corn milk or pear and silver ear fungus soup (really more of a tea), which in TCM is thought to help hydrate the lungs and combat excess heat in the body.

Hagaki

Treat yourself to a healthy-yet-indulgent Japanese-style hot pot on a cold night. Head over to Hagaki to try their new shabu-shabu menu, which features five different flavors of broth to choose from. Whichever one you choose, they are all designed to bring out the natural aroma of the Angus beef and sweetness of the fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables.

Xian
