2023 Year-in-Review: Restaurants, Eateries and More Pt.2
After three years of Covid uncertainty, 2023 was a nice dose of normality in Beijing. And what a year it’s been! In our 2023 Year-in-Review we’re taking a look back at the happenings in the capital from this year that was.
Following on from our first post of new openings, we’ll now be taking a look at even more new places that opened up.

Shopping center, events, and lifestyle space THE BOX has caused quite a stir since it opened earlier this year. With a focus on “youth culture” it focuses on up-and-coming brands, hip hop, street fashion, and more. Holding regular events including this year’s first ever CHEERS Wine Fest and an interactive Barbie exhibition, we’re excited to see what next year will bring.
