Within a few swipes and taps on your phone you can have all manner of gastronomic delights flying to your door, whether you want to actually get in the kitchen or just sit on the couch and shovel food into your face. We have put together an up-to-date list of the best delivery services available in Beijing in 2016, including groceries, restaurants, and alcohol.
Part one looks at both delivery services that bring you food from multiple restaurants and restaurants that offer their own delivery service.
Food Delivery Services
Best restaurants: Moka Bros, The Local, Pak Pak, Juice By Melissa, Caravan
Delivery zones: Chaoyang District and Dongcheng District
Delivery fee: RMB 15 and up. The majority of restaurants signed have no minimum order fee

Delivery zones: Serving four districts in Beijing – Chaoyang, Dongcheng, Xicheng, and Haidian
Delivery fee: Starts at RMB 15, but check their website as many restaurants offer free delivery within a 3km distance. Fees are dependent on distance from the restaurant to your destination. Most restaurants have a minimum order of RMB 68

Yes, the doyenne of hot pot restaurants will deliver their signature product to your home. No need to sit in that two-hour queue, although your whole house will smell like hot pot, not just your clothes.

For an extra RMB 200 per four-hour period, you can even hire a waiter to come and cook the hot pot for you.
