Prizes and Exercise at Sanlitun's Artemis x Ron Dorff Spring Awakening Outdoor Event, Apr 19-24

Artemis x Ron Dorff's Spring Awakening comes just as this year's outdoor event season gets into top gear, running this week between April 19-24, just behind the Apple Store in Sanlitun's Taikoo Li.

The event is being held in honor of Ron Dorff, whose products will be available in one of Sanlitun's newest stores: Artemis, a European lifestyle store stocking over 40 brands, many of which will be available in China for the first time.

Ron Dorff, one of those brands, is known for its fashionable sportswear from Paris and Stockholm, its name borne out of a partnership between Jérôme Touron, a Frenchman, and Claus Lindorff, a Swede. 

The event itself will feature music, outdoor crossfit, with energy drinks and fresh juice available to keep you pumped. Joyseed is also making an appearance with their special healthy lunchbox. Professional gym trainers will be on site, and competitions and prizes will be given out throughout the day. For example, there'll be a competition to see who can plank for the longest amount of time, a fitting exercise given people's readiness to undergo feats of great perseverance outside of the Apple Store.

Social media assistant Flora Ma says the aim is not only to provide entertainment, which a planking competition most certainly will, but also, a "great place where people can meet." In the evening, the space will transform into a European-type square where you can sit and relax with friends, sipping on a gin and tonic.
