BICBF Opens Friday Night with 15 Brewers from 10 Countries and Territories
The suds are about to flow: the Beijing Invitational Craft Beer Festival opens Friday night (tonight) for its first two-hour session, featuring 75 beers from 15 brewers in ten countries and territories.
Here's the full list of participating beer companies: Victory Brewing Company (USA); Baird Brewing Company (Japan); Hong Kong Beer Co. (Hong Kong); Young Master Ales (Hong Kong); Thornbridge Brewery (UK); Windsor & Eton Brewery (UK); Hilden Brewing Co. (Ireland); 8 Wired Brewing Co. (New Zealand); Yeastie Boys (New Zealand); Le Blé D'or (Taiwan); Boxing Cat Brewery (China); Strong Ale Works (China); Great Leap Brewing (China); Slow Boat Brewery (China); and 京 A Brewing Co. (China).
The three-day event will be divided into three sessions of two, 2.5, and three hours, with pricing for free-flow beer from all of the participants of RMB 250, 300, and 400, respectively. Participants for the two, three-hour evening sessions also get access to beers not available during the other times. Each ticket holder receives a commemorative 150ml glass to use during the sessions and then keep.
Each session is limited to 400 ticket holders, and popular sessions are expected to sell out. Tickets will be available at the venue EAST Hotel Beijing, and also online from Yoopay. Event hours are Friday, 5-7pm and 7.30-10.30pm; Saturday 12-2pm; 2.30-4.30pm; 5-7pm; and 7.30-10.30pm; Sunday 12-2.30pm; 3-5.30pm; and 6-8.30pm.
