What to Wear: New Year’s Eve, Women’s Edition

You’ll need something sexy and glamorous for this evening. (And to think that just last week we were espousing ugly Christmas sweaters. Sigh.) We typically discourage overembellishment and glitz in everyday getups, but on New Year’s Eve, it’s your time to shine. With that in mind, here is our proposed outfit for partying your way to 2012.

1. Wanda Dress by Jones and Jones, RMB 740 (Topshop and FEI Space - while supplies last)
There’s no other day in the year where sequins look so appropriate (except, perhaps, on your birthday). Whether you decide to go for sexy lace, sheer chiffon or skintight bandage, make sure you keep the length of your dress short. This is the night to play up your youth, and celebrate decadence and fun.

2. Purple Snakeskin Handbag, RMB 1,550 (D-SATA and Luxbible.com)
