Get ready, Beijing! The Beijinger's Cheesy Pizza Month is back for a second year! A celebration of all things cheesy, gooey, and delicious, this is one event you don't want to miss. 

Brought to you by Cheese from the USA, the 2024 Cheesy Pizza Month will kick off on Friday, Nov 29 and will be running until Monday, Dec 30. That means you've got a whole month to get out there and stuff your face with as many of Beijing's pizzas as possible!

Just like last time, Cheesy Pizza Month will see some of Beijing's top pizza purveyors offering special deals, discounts and exclusive mouth-watering, cheese-loaded creations. Whether you’re into classic Margheritas, decadent meat feasts, or inventive toppings that take pizza to the next level, there will be something for every taste!

To take part, you'll need to get yourself a Cheesy Pizza Month Passport and the premise is simple: eat pizza, earn stamps and collect prizes! There are some amazing prizes up for grabs including vouchers, hotel stays and the top prize of RMB 3,000! We'll have the full details on how you can get your passport along with this year's rules coming soon, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

It isn't only the Cheesy Pizza Month that's coming soon though, we'll also be asking participants to choose Beijing's Best Pizza for 2024!  Last year saw New Zealand pizzeria Gung Ho! win the best pizza of the 2023 Cheesy Pizza Fest with Q Mex coming in second and Tube Station in third. 

Will Gung Ho! manage to nab another victory? Maybe another Beijing pizza veteran take the crown? Or perhaps a complete newcomer will become the champion? It's all to play for!

Foodies of Beijing prepare to get excited! The Belt & Road Food Fest at Langyuan Station Riverside Cultural Plaza is back once again! This year the Fest will be happening over the Mid-Autumn Festival from Sep 15-17, so you’ve got a whole three days packed full of food, booze, entertainment, music, culture and more!

Juicy Burger Fest 2024 will be hitting Beijing over the Dragon Boat holiday (Jun 8-10) from 11am until 9pm each day, so clear your schedule and loosen those belts! We’ll have 40+ vendors from the best burger joints from around the city serving up mouthwatering creations that will satisfy every craving. There will be everything from classic beefy goodness to some wildly creative concoctions that might just blow your buns off, plus vegetarian and vegan delights that even carnivores will crave! 

To pair with your burgers there will be plenty of craft beer, cocktails, alcoholic slushies, wine and a whole range of non-alcoholic offerings for nondrinkers and kids too. 

But wait, there’s more! Not only will you be feasting on fantastic food, but there will also be loads of activities including games and contests, live music, dancing and activities for the little ones, making this a truly family-friendly fiesta. Juicy Burger Fest 2023 will be running from 3pm-9pm Oct 27 and then 11am-9pm Oct 28-29. We’ll have over 40+ vendors firing up their grills to bring you their best burgers, from burger veterans and first-time Burger Fest participants to completely brand new burger spots and other surprises.

Along with burgers, burgers, and more burgers, there will also be plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available to quench your thirst. 

We also have a great lineup of entertainment of games, live music, DJs, and more that is sure to get everyone up and dancing. Plus this will be the first time our festival is running until 9pm so you’ll have even more time to party it up!

Our theme for Burger Fest is still Journey to the West, but given that it’s spooky season we’re combining this with a Halloween theme as well.  As always we encourage you to embrace the theme and dress up! Whether you want to dress up as a character from Journey to the West like Sun Wukong, something spooky like a zombie or a combination of the two, we want to see it!

The Venue

Although our theme is Journey to the West, you’ll actually need to journey to the east of Beijing to head over to this year’s venue located just east of Guomao in Gaobeidian. XidianJiYi Funstown Creative Town is all about being stylish and trendy, with a high-end and cutting-edge vibe that blends creativity, fashion, and art. It's not just about showing off your personal style and looking good, but also about embracing a cultural way of life and mind-set.

The Chinese style market paired with the international food fest is the perfect combination of East meets West, allowing you to enjoy the food culture while also taking in more culture.

Supported by the Beijinger, the Belt & Road Food Fest will be a weekend jam-packed full of food, booze, entertainment, music, culture and much more besides!

This will be the fifth edition of the Belt & Road Food Fest and this year will see a whole new upgrade! Although it's primary focus is centered on business and infrastructure, the Belt & Road Initiative is also about cultural exchange, so this year there will be a special YOYO Autumn Harvest Market celebrating Chinese cultural wares.
