Hulu by TRB is spotlighting Spanish wines for their Wednesday Wine Day series. The four (4) wines will be from different vineyards in Spain - Torres Vina (esmeralda), Vasse Felix (chardonnay), "Cuatro Pasos" (mencia) and Torres Altos (ibericos rioja).



As always, the modern European cuisine will be served sharing style: foie gras on toast, iberico ham croquettes, gravlax, cucumber salmon, steak tartare, mushroom salad, garlic prawns, squid ink risotto, chorizo pasta, potato short ribs, mini spicy sliders, sweet potato fries, mango cake and peanut cake.



Available on May 8th and 15th for lunch & dinner. Reservations required (minimum of 2 guests). RMB 298 per person (additional RMB 100 for free flow).

The youngest and first female chef to win the prestigious Cuisiner D’Or competition in 2017, Chef Elodie works alongside 3-Michelin star chef Franck Giovannini at the Restaurant de l’Hôtel De Ville and heads the Koch Culinary Academy B. Violier.


A rising star, Chef Elodie will be our guest chef at TRB Forbidden City between April 26th-28th showcasing the exceptional gastronomy of Switzerland, the country with the highest concentration of Michelin-starred restaurants in the world!

Beersmith at Hotel Jen in Guomao will be the venue to be in for this truly entertaining and super fun happening in the city. While the weather may still be chilly in March in Beijing, but this should not be the reason to stop us from dining out and splurge on sumptuous food and wine, especially when the meal is prepared by Chef Damiano Nigro ( 1 Michelin Star), the first guest chef that we welcome in 2019 at TRB Forbidden City.


Like many outstanding chef we know, Chef Damiano embraced his passion and destiny for professional cooking at a young age; at the age of 15, he embarked on his gastronomic voyage by working alongside with masters such as Gualtiero Marchesi, Marco Pierre White, Alain Ducasse Alain Soliveres and Enrico Crippa whose precision, devotion and commitment to the art of cooking have all left their mark on him. In 2006, Chef Damiano was being put in charge as the executive chef of the 4 star Relais “Villa d’Amelia” in the stunning Piedmont region in Northern Italy where he still works now; under his stewardship, the Villa d’Amelia restaurant earned the coveted 1 Michelin star.


While the influences from the celebrated restaurants and chef that Chef Damiano has worked with can be beautifully found in his cooking, but it is his bold and original mix of the Piedmontese culinary tradition with the elegant and plain flavors of his hometown in Brindisi, in the south of Italy, that impresses and surprises the diners and the critics; it is his daring and unyielding pursuit to find the balance between traditional and modern culinary flavors that we are delighted to present Beijing with at TRB Forbidden City.
