Sign Up for Art-Themed Hidden City Game 8 in 798, Sep 27
In what might be the last warm session of the Hidden City Game of the year, the eighth session of this community-based activity is art-themed and takes place in, you guessed it, 798 Art District, on Sunday, September 27.
The Hidden City Game is a timed activity organized by Improbable Guidebooks, and is similar to a treasure hunt (or a tiny Amazing Race). The challenge runs throughout specific sections of Beijing in order to explore, compete, and have fun. Participants in teams of two, three, or four, run around working out answers hidden in architecture, history, or logic. The game is family friendly, too!
As for the logistics, this session starts with registration between 3-4pm, and runs until 7pm when prizes are handed out to the winners. There are three different types of ways to play, depending on whether you want to be competitive, arrive late and prefer to play fast, or you just want to have fun and screw competing completely.
It costs RMB 60 per person to enter, and prizes this time add up to between RMB 7,000-9,000 and include vouchers to restaurants and bars around the city. If you want to register, all you have to do is add Paula on WeChat (ID: paulitt). Good luck and get hunting!
