New Openings: Mirch Masala
Daya Prasad, a ten-year veteran of the Beijing dining scene, has opened this restaurant (his seventh) – and it may well be his best. Centrally located in the Ritan Highlife complex, which could use more tenants of this caliber, Mirch Masala offers a full palette of halal North Indian favorites.
There are also dishes less familiar to Beijing palates like baingan bharta (a vegan baked eggplant curry with onions, tomatoes and spices) and Persian masala (a lamb and chicken tikka in a spicy sauce with garlic and coriander).
The thali lunch sets are balanced, filling meals that are cooked to order – no wilting under buffet lamps. A non-vegetarian thali, for instance, comprises delightfully tender lamb rogan josh, chicken tikka masala, Bombay potatoes, vegetable curry, pilau rice and naan – excellent value at only RMB 45.

They have this on their menu for last 10 years.
How can reputed magazine like Beijinger make such a mistake, show ignorance about a basic dish from the Indian cuisine.
I have travelled to India umpteen times and this is a basic dish in north India .
