A Few Spots To Catch the Paris 2024 Olympics
The Paris 2024 Olympics is all set to kick off tonight (1.30am Jul 27) and if you want to catch the Opening Ceremony, as well as the matches during the games here are a few spots around Beijing where you can watch all the action.
Beersmith
Beersmith will have a few deals up for grabs while the Opening Ceremony is screening. Firstly, there is a special Game Watching Package where for only RMB 178 you can get sweet potato fries, chicken tenders and a craft beer classic set (4 glasses of 150ml craft beer). They will also have a special deal where the price for their South German Weiss will be dropped to just RMB 38 a glass!

Q Mex
Q Mex will be showing the Opening Ceremony at their Sanlitun branch. They’ll also be showing some of the major Olympic matches, such as the women's basketball and women's volleyball events that China is playing in, as well as the women's double and men's double badminton events. Paddy O’Shea’s
Paddy’s will be extending their hours on Friday night until very late so that you can watch the Opening Ceremony. During the rest of the Games, they will strive to show as many events as possible. If there is a specific event you want to see you can ask the staff there if it’s possible to show it on one of their many TVs. You can read more details in this post.

The Local
You can catch the Opening Ceremony at The Local and they will also be trying to show as many events as possible during normal business hours. For events taking place after 1.30am, they’ll be airing them based on interest and if you can contact Kenn (WeChat ID: localKenn) if there are any specific events you'd like to see. Cinemas
Many cinemas across Beijing will be showing the Opening Ceremony and events throughout the games via CGTN's television coverage. To see which cinemas are showing the games you can scan one of the QR codes in the poster above which will take you to a ticketing page.
