Indie Female Night: Joy Stuhr
Joy Stuhr is a singer-songwriter classically trained in multiple instruments. After receiving a BA in music, Stuhr has lived in several countries, pursuing her passion in music, which includes co-founding ‘The Musical Ambassadors,’ a project that aims to unite Western, African, and traditional Chinese music. Tonight Stuhr performs with two fellow musicians: Nicole Jhang and Heike Kagler, performing original music as well as songs from Stuhr's aforementioned project. Debriefing on New Foreigner’s Work Permit in Beijing
China's new pilot visa scheme, to be implemented nationwide this month, means that the government now classifies foreign workers into categories, which aims to streamline work permit applications for foreigners. To prepare for the change, SwissCham, in cooperation with the European Chambers, will hold a briefing on the new regulations headed by the Section Chief of Beijing Municipal Center of Foreign Experts Affairs, Rong Duan, as well as a Q&A session with governmental officials. 2-5pm. Alexei Kornienko and Elena Denivosa Concert in Beijing
Seasoned Austrian conductor and pianist Alexei Kornienko comes to the Beijing Concert Hall to perform with his wife, the equally talented violinist Elena Denisova. Spring Cooking Class

Royal Canal Boat Tour to the Summer Palace
