Beijing Subway Turns on A/C for Summer: In June, Beijing's subway system brought back its "dual temperature" cars -- either "cold" or "cool" in select subway cars -- for the summer months, reports The Global Times. To further regulate platform temperatures, all 1,041 fans across 56 above-ground stations have also been activated.

Wang Yu, the director of the subway's publicity department, shared that the "cold" cars will maintain temperatures between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, while the "cool" cars will be kept at 24 to 26 degrees Celsius. The dual temperature mode, as it's officially referred to, was first implemented in 2019.

Beijing Universal Studios Resort Enacts New Entry Regulations: On Jun 8, Beijing Universal Resort updated its entry regulations in regard to vehicles, reports Beijing Business Daily. The new rules, effective Jun 15 after a trial phase, aim to ensure a quality experience for all visitors by restricting vehicles that may negatively affect the experience of other guests.

The updated regulations prohibit visitors from bringing campervans, trolleys, and electric scooters into the resort. Exceptions include wheelchairs, electric mobility aids for the disabled, and strollers for children aged seven and below. Bicycles, roller skates, wheeled shoes, skateboards, and scooters are also disallowed within the resort area.

These rules ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests at Beijing Universal Studios Resort. Visitors must refrain from using vehicles or carts solely for carrying personal belongings.

The Rong Huo Flame for Chengdu 2021 arrives in Beijing: The Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games Flame, named Rong Huo, has arrived in Beijing to commence the Torch Relay, reports Inside the Games. Initially lit in Turin in January 2021, the torch features Chengdu's iconic giant panda and city logo. It was transported to Beijing by a Chengdu 2021-branded Sichuan Airlines aircraft.

The Torch Relay will take place from Jun 10 to Jul 28, covering various locations across China. Chengdu, known as a panda breeding center, is set to host the delayed Games from Jul 28 to Aug 8. The event will see 15,000 athletes compete in 18 sports, marking the third FISU World University Games in China after Beijing 2001 and Shenzhen 2011.

Let telll ya bout the sleeps you can have after a week of cacaine and booze, well booze, we are in Chiner after all, nonetheless, ya can get the gist. Though what I a saying is the recovery from a bout of debauchery and drunkenness is actually the creative force which drives. Has any foreigner clinically gone insane talking to Chinese women over stupid APPs on their phones? I may be one. Though I have very low respect for the entire concept. (Insanity that is, ... I in fact have rather high regard for the concept, and even moreso the embodyment of the foregoing, especially long deadstrait, jet black hair and very fulsome lips, .... bit tits are a bonus, but not required)
