870 Digital Products Unveiled to Protect Beijing's Central Axis Heritage Sites: China's National Cultural Heritage Administration has announced that 870 digital products inspired by the cultural relics found along the Beijing Central Axis will be unveiled, according to a report from Global Times. The initiative is supported by the Beijing Central Axis Foundation and Tencent, and aims to protect, restore, study, and excavate the vast architectural complexes along the axis, which consist of three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 11 national key heritage sites, and two municipal heritage sites. Beijing is celebrating its 870th year as the capital of China, and the Central Axis is one of the most important representations of Chinese civilization. Local institutions have developed interactive games and virtual tours of the area's heritage, enabling people in 30 countries and regions worldwide to appreciate the axis.

Beijing Subway Upgrades for a Better Commuting Experience: The Beijing Subway has announced plans to improve the passenger experience by adding waiting seats and trash cans at stations, according to a report from Qianlong.com. The upgrade will also include the installation of cooling and heating facilities. In addition, a bathroom upgrade and renovation project aimed at strengthening ventilation, removing odors, and improving facilities was also carried out. The subway has completed energy-saving renovations of lighting fixtures in the public areas of 20 stations from Haidianwuluju station to Caofang station in the first phase of Line 6 this year. The upgrade will improve the illumination of stations, the waiting environment for passengers, and achieve the goal of energy saving and carbon reduction.

Promoting China's Advancements in Aviation and Space Industries: The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Beijing Municipal People's Government are organizing the first China International Aviation and Aerospace Industry Expo in Beijing this fall, according to a report from China Daily. Scheduled for Sep 25-30 at the Beijing Daxing International Airport, the event will cover eight hectares and feature exhibits from over 200 leading companies from around the world, showcasing civilian and space aviation technologies. The event aims to attract at least 50,000 visitors during the six days it runs. Among the exhibits are jetliners, helicopters, cargo planes, utility aircraft, engines, spacecraft, and drones. The event hopes to promote and display China's advancements in the aviation and space industries, bringing together industry leaders and enthusiasts from around the world.
