Thirsty? Wet your whistle with Booze News, our wrap-up of the week's best bar deals, parties, drink concoctions, industry gossip, and more.

New Mexican spirits tasting menu at Las Musas

The latest promotion to join Las Musas' already bustling drinks deals will go down a treat with tequila and mezcal lovers. As of this week, the Mexican restaurant has launched a brand new agave spirits tasting flight, featuring "not only tequila and mezcal, but also lesser-known traditional tipples such as sotol, raicilla, and bacanora." There are five flights to choose from costing RMB 68-188 with each featuring three different alcohols, making it a great way to try "some premium and rare bottles and discover differences amongst various styles, methods, and plants used in the production of Mexican spirits."

Ladies' night returns to Beersmith

What is undoubtedly the best ladies' night in the capital returns to Beersmith following an extended hiatus on account of coronavirus restrictions. As with the previous rendition, ladies can now drink unlimited free-flow beer and cider for absolutely free every Wednesday between 5-9pm. To sweeten the deal, the brewery's house band Soul Shake is finally back in the country and on the stage, performing at 8.30pm.
