Events That Won't Leave You Hungover, Jul 30-Aug 4

Wavelength: Made in Illusion
Does art imitate life or does life imitate art? Beijing Times Art Museum's latest exhibition Wavelength: Made In Illusion posits this question for the ages with regards to the connection between art and consumer culture, investigating the obscure relationship between aesthetic materialism and human sentiment. The exhibition includes over 100 works spanning various mediums, meshing old and new styles to create an arresting visual cacophony (some of which are pictured at top). RMB 88, RMB 58 (advance). Daily, 10am-10pm. Beijing Times Art Museum
