Happy, the Beijinger's Office Therapy Dog, Has Been Kidnapped

Happy, just about the most affectionate dog known to man and the Beijinger’s official office therapy dog, is missing.

An adorable white six-year-old mix with short curly hair and a distinctive bent right front paw, was last seen on police surveillance cameras being taken away by a woman driving a tuk-tuk outside the Dongdaqiao Subway Station Exit A at 1.30pm on Sunday (Jan 27).

The driver appears to be a 30-something woman wearing a baseball cap and driving a tuk-tuk with distinctive blue or gray mittens attached to the handlebars.

She was not wearing a collar at the time and we’re hoping the driver of the tuk-tuk assumed she was abandoned and is now taking care of her at home.

Happy loves affection and pretty much bonds with everyone. As well as her name, she's also able to understand “sit” “let’s go,” “no,” “play dead,” “shake hands,” and “turn around” in English.

Happy lives just a stone's throw from the Beijinger's offices at the south end of Sanlitun, and frequently spends days in our office getting showered with attention from staff. She's even won the hearts of people who swear they don't like dogs.

Local police from the Sanlitun station were able to track the movement of the driver from the Dongdaqiao station where she headed north to Xingfu'ercun to drop a piece of luggage at Unit 1, Jia 1 Bldg Xingfu'ercun (幸福二村甲1号楼1单元). She then headed south to Sanlitun Soho, where she was last seen at around 1.48pm.
