Go Veg with the Vegan Outreach Dinner at The Local, Feb 21

Join The Local this Sunday (Feb 21) as they roll out a plant-based menu for all the vegans in the Jing looking for something healthy to chow down on. While The Local has continuously featured veggie-friendly items on their menu, they're taking he next step to expand these options to deliver something new and exciting to those that shy away from animal-derived nutrition.

The menu includes:

Oyster Mushroom Po'Boy with Old Bay Reumoulade
Tofu Satay Sticks
Roast Tomato Lasagna
Portabello Fries w/Oven-Dried Olive & Miso Crumble
Vegan Buffalo Wings w/vegan ranch dressing

If you’re interested, reserve your seats for the RMB 100 a plate dinner by visiting this Meetup page.

The number of diners will be capped at 40 and interest has already been heavy, so act quickly to ensure your seat at this unique dining experience.

The goal of this series of vegan-themed kitchen takeovers is to bring awareness to how easy it is to switch over to a plant-based diet, even at restaurants that are not restricted to veggie-only cuisine.

Join this edition to learn ways in which you can remove meat and dairy from your fridge forever, while persuading Western restaurants in Beijing to become more vegan-friendly.
