Sep 24: SHFT Presents: AAZAR (Mad Decent) 

AAZAR is one of the leaders of Paris's bass music scene. His Soundcloud is a treasure trove of jersey, future bass, and trap sounds that have also been released through Diplo’s Mad Decent label. Head to Dada and get down with the nasty elegance of this notorious DJ. RMB 40. 10pm. Dada 

Sep 25-26: Beijing Autumn Craft Beer Festival 

Every fall there are two things we can look forward to: pumpkin spice, and the second is the Beijing Autumn Craft Beer Festival. On September 25 (5:00PM-10:00PM) and 26 (12:00noon-10:00PM) Slow Boat Brewery will be hosting this festival of hops and foam at the East Hotel Beijing. With over 20 beer and food vendors, you would have to be a lunatic to miss out on this massive event. Free admission. 12-10pm. EAST Beijing 

Sep 25: Lantern's 6th Anniversary 

Join Lantern, one of the originals of Beijing’s underground dance music scene, as they celebrate six years of hot parties and cold techno. The night’s programming will include a long list of Beijing DJs that have helped Lantern become an electronic music institution here in the capital, including Weng Weng, Elvis T, BB Deng, and many more. RMB 50 (Free before 11pm). 10pm. Lantern 

Sep 26: Magic Touch 

Magic Touch mixes the psychedelic ethos of California with the house movements of Chicago, Detroit and smatters the whole thing with a solid nod to the UK rave underground. Well worth checking out if you are into original electronic music made live with synthesizers and drum machines. RMB 50. 10pm. Dada 

Sep 26: Bungalow is Back 

The tiki saga continues with the return of Bungalow this Saturday. Come check out their new tropical themed digs and enjoy half priced drinks until 10:30 as they celebrate their soft opening. Special honors will be bestowed upon everyone wearing Hawaiian or tiki style attire (What could it be?). Free. 7pm. Bungalow Tiki

Sep 26: “Ye' Shanghai” Cheongsam Party

Journey back in time with Atmosphere this Saturday, to the elegance of Shanghai in the roaring 20’s. An era when the night was ruled by jazz, gangsters, and qipao wearing damsels. Make sure to dress up and look the part as they transform the most elevated bar in town into ye old Shanghai. For tickets call 010 8509 5550 ext. 87. 8pm-late. Atmosphere
