Eat, Drink, and Be Merry at the Beijinger's First International Foodie Weekend May 30-31
Ready your stretchiest eating pants Beijingers, because the Beijinger's First International Foodie Weekend is coming to town! From 11am-8pm on Saturday and Sunday (May 30-31), a bevvy of more than two dozen of Beijing's favorite international restaurants and vendors will come together at Galaxy Soho for a festival celebrating all things edible.
Gone are the days when you would be lucky to find a good burger in Beijing, let alone an authentic Thai curry. Now you get anything from a perfect plate of pasta to mouthwatering Mexican, and we have selected some of our favorites to take part in our Foodie Weekend. Of course, Beijing is also the capital of Chinese dining, so we've included options from around China, such as Asiniuniu's Yi minority cuisine from Liangshan in Sichuan, and Susongfu's Shanghainese shengjianbao.

Andy's Craft Sausages Needing little introduction, Andy's tasty handmade sausages come in interesting flavors such as spicy Italian and cheddar bratwurst

We will also be holding the Beijinger's 2015 Bar and Club Awards on site, which means a chance to hob nob with the great and good of Beijing's bar scene bunch, and listen to live music (featuring DJ Cousin Kippy, the Beijinger's very own nightlife editor) and entertainment, all while you nibble away. During the awards, winner of the Best Cover Band category, the Beijing Beatles, and winner of Outstanding Cover Band, Tavey Lean and the Solid Gold Dream Machine, will be playing live on stage, proving why they took home the top spots in this category
On Sunday afternoon, some of our vendors will host activities on stage, with the chance to win big prizes. Pizza Plus will be hosting a pizza eating contest, while Asiniuniu will be giving away tickets to the National Center for Performing Arts.
Our sister brands, beijingkids and jingkids, will also be on site to provide activities for kids and families.
