EAT: A Mixed Bag of Dining Deals
A bit of a mixed bag of dining news this week.
Firstly, you still have until Thursday to catch the Taste of Malaysia promotion currently ongoing at Kerry's Kitchen. The special buffet features more than 35 traditional Malaysian dishes, including many Peranakan dishes. Read more about my favorite dishes on the blog.
Over at Liangmaqiao, Via Roma in the Kempinski has introduced a new set lunch menu. You'll pay RMB 118 for two courses of healthy Italian fare Speaking of Italian, we called by Fiume, the new venue from the people behind hutong favorite Mercante, the other day and will be back with a full report soon.
If you're more into cooking than eating out, you'll want to stock up at TooToo Organic Farm's online shop. The more you shop, the more you save, so for example if you spend RMB 298 you get RMB 58 off, if you spend RMB 598 you get RMB 138 off and so on. They have pretty much everything you need for Christmas dinner at home, including red wine, turkey and organic vegetables.
On the boozy side of things, Morton's are expanding their popular "Mortini" happy hour to include beers (Tsingtao and Budweiser) and wine (from Borsao winery). To be honest, we would stick with the giant Mortinis anyway, but it's nice to have the choice.
Finally, check out our Christmas events section for all the latest Christmas meals and deals.

But I wish they had a better presentation on their website!
