Movember's End: Celebrate With Us

As Movember draws to a close and the itching above our collective top lip becomes almost too unbearable for words, we naturally begin looking ahead to the end of the month when we can shed our snot mops for another year.

We thought it would be a fitting end if we, the great mostachioed of Beijing, celebrated that coveted day together with a bar crawl around some of the participating bars in our Movember campaign, before settling down to have a ceremonial shaving of our nostrel rats all together.

So that's what we'll do. If you'd like to join our Beijinger Movember Bar Crawl, we'll be kicking things off in the Gulou area taking in Serk, Great Leap and Mao Mao Chong before heading towards Sanlitun where we'll hit Black Sun Bar, Brussels, Beer Mania and Paddy O'Shea's before heading over to Shuangjing to hit The Brick and Plan B where we'll round off Movember with a ceremonial shearing of the Mo as the clock strikes midnight.

We've even come up with a rough timetable for our jaunt:

5.30pm – Serk – We'll start it off at Serk on Beixinqiao Santiao, where the kind folks have been offering Stella for RMB 20 as well as RMB 10 Tsingtao since Movember began.

6.15pm – Great Leap Brewing – Just across the way from Serk, we'll hit up Great Leap for a pint afterwards. They've been donating RMB 1 per glass to the Movember fund and will be awarding an all-you-can-drink night for two at the end of Movember.

7pm – Mao Mao Chong – From there we'll dash to Mao Mao Chong and enjoy one of the free margarita pizzas they've been doling out to the moustachioed all month - as well as a cocktail or two, of course.

7.45pm – Black Sun – After that, we'll head over to the general Sanlitun area for a few more. First up will be Black Sun, who will offer Happy Hour prices to all the mos on crawl.

8.30pm – Brussels – Next we'll get across to Brussels where we'll be treated to Happy Hour prices and 2-4-1 on Tiger beer during our visit.

9.15pm – Beer Mania – Then we'll scoot over to Beer Mania. They've be rewarding the flocculent with Happy Hour prices on draft Belgian beer (20% off) all month.

10pm – Paddy O'Shea's – Our last Sanlitun stop will be Paddy O'Shea's. They, too, have been very generous in rewarding mos with Happy Hour prices all month.

10.45pm – The Brick – Finally, we'll head to our final neighborhood of the night: Shaungjing. First up will be The Brick, who've agreed to hand out free shots to all the mos (and moeses) in the house.

11.30pm – Plan B – Our journey will end in Plan B. They'll be providing every mo in the bar with 2-4-1 on drinks all night. And at midnight, they'll be firing up the shears and relieving all the bros of their mos. Thank heavens.
