Calling All Bakers: The Fig Tree Clears Its Stock

The Fig Tree in Chaowai Soho is closing up and clearing out their cache of baking supplies. If you're the type who's always searching Beijing stores for hard-to-find baking supplies, now’s your chance to get the goods. Don't delay! The sale ends tomorrow.

The cooking school/bakery is offering up a range of baking equipment, including molds, pans, glassware and more. Cooking and baking books are also up for grabs, as well as hard to find ingredients such as xantham gum, cream of tartar, bread flour, coconut flour, almond flour, glutinous rice flour, wheat starch, hazelnut flour and a full spectrum of food coloring. The Fig Tree will be open from 10am to 5pm today and tomorrow. They recommend that people bring their own bags to carry home their purchases. They are also willing to sweeten the deal by offering 500g of high-gluten bread flour to anyone who spends RMB 100 or more.
