Hercules is officially the shittiest spot in town. When we just got here two years ago, sandwiches were amazing, service was friendly and welcoming and the prices totally matched the quality of food.

I am sitting at Hercules right now and for the first time I regret coming to SLT for food. First off, they only serve salads and sandwiches for the most part of the day, so pasta and other gourmet things are out of the question. Tell it to my stomach! When I got my salad, they didn't even bother to heat up the chicken and it had ice all over it...

Secondly, they don't have the famous carrot cake (that has been decreasing in quality over the past year or so, but I've had too much faith in Hercules I guess). Moreover, when I asked if other cakes are fresh, they said *three-four days old*. I'm sorry, Hercules, but I am under no circumstances signing myself up for a diarrhea over 40 kuai tiny slice of whatthehellisthat.

New stuff is just hideous, as I know more about the menu than them.

On a side note, the drinks have become more watery, icy and burning (e.g.fake alcohol).

Verdict: you better increase the quality or shut the fuck down.

I had their Philly steak sandwich - what a disappointment! What Philly steak sandwich doesn't have cheese on it!! It was pretty horrible anyhow, don't know if it the cheese would have helped much. But the interior is done well, perhaps some of their other sandwiches or offerings are better - otherwise I'd advise you to go elsewhere for decent sandwiches

I just ate here. I had the French Jamon/Fromage sandwich. I'm sure the other sandwiches are good, but this one wasn't. Had my slice of ham been any thinner it would have been invisible. The slice of cheese that came with it was translucent at best. The baguette was so big that I could hardly taste what was supposed to be in between the two bread slices. If you're hungry, don't make the same mistake I did.
