This popular LA brand has a huge celebrity following (J-Lo, Beyonce and even Ben Affleck), and why not? The A-list knows how to wear denim. The secret to the jeans’ great fit lies not only in flattering cuts that elongate the leg but also the XLA stretch fiber, which hugs the body in all the right places.

At the label’s first Beijing store, the original ladies boot-cut, which features Swarovski crystals on the back pocket, costs RMB 2,580; the men’s boot-cut goes for RMB 2,380.

While “Sevens” also carries hipster tops (around RMB 1,600) and denim shorts (RMB 2,380), their prices are a little harder to justify. The jeans, however, are terrific quality and are worthy as investment pieces for the wardrobe.
