Yummm

I love this place. I have taken both carnivore and herbivore friends here and everyone raves about it: my meat eating friends can hardly put food in their mouths between their "HOW DO THEY MAKE IT TASTE LIKE THIS??" interjections, my veg friends have similar reactions swearing that they didn't know Chinese food could taste this way. Me? I am willing to go to the monstrously creepy/empty Chaowai Soho just for Tianchu Miaoxiang. This restaurant is well priced for their generous portions and they have a nice range of both mock meat and vegetable based dishes. They even make veg versions of those nasty street hotdogs that smell JUST LIKE the real nasty street hotdogs (relax, they taste fine). Anyway, the kitchen offers a class in Chinese if you reserve in advance. I haven't taken it yet but I am perfectly content in the meantime to stuff myself silly on their mock mutton.
