How come after a decade spent in Beijing, you've been out of my radar...It's what i said to Lisa, the mastermind behind the View.
I've done different kind of fine dining and casual...But when i step into that place, i already knew it would impress me. ( reading critics sometimes do not appeal me but this time i did it a try)
A 180 degrees outside view, adding to the 180 degrees for the bar parisian style at the back...Cosy and more than that. Enough said. And also not far from Guomao CBD, which is really central.
Mainly French and european style dishes, also seafood, oysters, lobster, combined with Asian culinaries specialities. Almost what you can expect.
The food now..They have an complete menu of dishes, meat, food, salad, specialities, not too long, (i hate spending half an hour comparing dishes...:):) which is perfect.
And a nice selection of wines, and cocktails but the selection of whiskey will have me to be back there.
Saying more would be too much, but it is an amazing experience that you will remember. Go with family, guests,dates, lovers ....By night...And you'll see Beijing's nightlights.
Went above my expectations, the service was perfect. Better book, it's always full.
To make it short: the food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect.
Worth a visit, like the Great Wall...
