As long-term residents of Tongzhou we were thrilled to find out that we could now enjoy Indian without heading into town! It's not the easiest place to find using just the address - basically go to the second floor of the mall, and go out of the doors that are on the other side of the mall - opposite the lifts that go to the cinema. It's outside on the opposite walkway. When we called to ask directions the English-speaking staff were very helpful.

We're vegetarian, so unfortunately we were limited to their Indian-only offerings. It would be great if in the future they could extend their menu to offer Mexian-Indian dishes that didn't contain meat or seafood, as I was really curious to try some.

The service was friendly and fast, and the food was excellent. We had the veggie platter which is highly recommended (onion bhajis to die for!), the paneer balls (which my husband said were the best Indian dish he'd ever tasted!) and the dhal. All really tasty. The only downside was the naan. The garlic naan was disapointingly not garlicy at all, and the cheese naan tasted really chemically and in fact we couldn't finish it. As promised in the Beijinger review, the chia lemonade was absolutely delicious and so refreshing with the spicy, salty food!

Would have loved to stay for dessert but had a movie to catch Sad

The naan notwithstanding this is a solid Indian place that we'll definitely be going back to the next time we're at Wanda Plaza. Really hope this place succeeds!
