This is more of a review of one item than a restaurant that now has more than one location, but Moka Bros' Paleo Rice was so good that I'm looking forward to trying more of their updated menu.
When they first opened in half of what used to be Ciro's Pomodoro at Nali Patio, I loved the location but found the "high-five yourself every day!" decor dopey, and worse, their menu seemed overpriced and undergood.
However, a friend's recommendation pointed me to their updated menu and their relatively new location at The Place (next to chocolate opium den Max Brenner Chocolate Bar), and after tiring of another healthy eating joint's disregard for customer service, thought I'd give it a try.
This space maintains the same, Nike-Just-Do-It meets Plastered 8 decor, but it's larger and comfier than the Sanlitun location. I still don't understand the point of restaurants where you must order at the counter but then your food and beverage is brought to your table, but it's not ridiculous. Service to the table was attentive, but the four people behind the counter at 8:30pm on a Monday could barely bring themselves to notice me.
I chose the Paleo Bowl and added beef to it. Although the menu listing on the board gave minimal information about its contents, it features couscous, some kind of cooked, green leafy vegetable, sliced tomato, a bit of hot pepper, cashews, and the extra beef. After two bites I switched from the fork that the server brought me to the accompanying spoon so that I could enjoy it more quickly. I can't wait to have it again, and enjoyed it so much that I want to know what other tasty dishes their minimalist menu is concealing.

Re: Paleo Bowl is delicious
Since the visit that inspired the review, I've also tried their hummus and their Mexican bowl, both also delicious.
