New Color

I went back to Tata this week for a color. After having such a great experience with the cut, I knew it'd be the perfect place to try a new color. I have never, ever had color in my hair, and I wanted to try something really different. I knew it would be a bit pricey (around 1,000 RMB for long hair), so if I was going to spend that much money I wanted it to be noticable, not too subtle. After speaking wiht David again, I decided an ombre was the best way to go. I had already researched a bunch of pictures of ombres, and thought having a blonde ombre would look great with my naturally dark hair. The overall experience was great; the colorist (I didn't get his name) was experienced and thorough, and David continually checked on me throughout the entire process. Overall, it took maybe about an hour for the entire color and blow dry. My previous stylist, Mickey, who had cut my hair last week, styled it beautifully after i got my final rinse. The color does look beautiful, but I don't think it's quite what I wanted. They colored it in a way so as not to be shocking, but still a little noticable, which is great for a first time color, but I think next time I want it a bit more drastic. However, this may have been my fault because I let them take the lead (mostly) on how to color it. I would suggest, if going in for a color and you have some idea of how you want it to look, to bring in pictures for reference. I will definitely be back for another color, but this time I will bring pictures!
