Food better than the beer

Been to the new brewpub a handful of times now and am a big fan. First, I have to give them credit for doing an excellent job maintaining their weibo page, I've asked them questions on there twice and got answers back within minutes.

I really like their cheeseburger, its a good size, the meat tastes excellent, and at RMB50, it's a great price. The burgers and fries remind me of Steak N' Shake, a fast food chain in the US (mainly in the southern part of the midwest). To me, that's a good thing! The wings are good, a nice fry on them, though the sauce is a little too sweet for me. I've also had the fried chicken on the late night menu, it wasn't what I was expecting, but it was good and it makes me hopeful that they will use that beer batter on fish, instantly having one of the city's best fish & chips (if they switch to chips instead of the shoestring fries). That said, the menu is really limited for the time being, I'm interested in seeing what its like when they expand it.

The beers are okay, probably the best microbrew option in the city, although nothing overwhelms. The Pale Ale and IPA are decent and the beers I usually go with. I'm not a fan of the honey ma, though it's worth a try for first timers. I think the kolsch was the beer that I've liked the most so far.

It's a very cool setting and great place for a beer, though its been incredibly popular lately and hard to find a seat.
