Called in here at 6.50am to grab a quick sandwich and coffee before work. The place had about three customers, 8 staff and it still took about 45 minutes. I'm a huge fan of the Bridge on the whole, but will avoid pre-work visits in future

They can't seem to be able to read body language. For example if its 6 and I go and sit down I do not want them to give me 30 min before they ask for me to order.

So what I do is I go and grab a menu myself, then I walk up to a waitress and order and point to my table.

then 20 min later I get my breakfast.

The 45 minutes was the time from ordering to receiving the food, not from entering to receiving.

What tends to happen in the mornings is that the staff who take your order deliver it to the kitchen or the counter but won't immediately wake up the staff who are responsible for dealing with the order. This becomes more frustrating when there are a myriad of other staff doing things like cleaning the floors and re-arranging the tables, and the people who are responsible for making the coffee or the food are still asleep.
