First off let me say I have no idea what people are talking about when they compare Avocado Tree to Chipotle. Sure it's a place that serves mission style burritos and has red walls but that's where the similarities end. Lucky Lopez actually does a pretty good job of ripping off Chipotle. When you order they have all the items in front of you and quickly build your burrito/tacos as you order. They have pretty much the same meat, bean, and salsa choices and even try to imitate the lime cilantro rice (it just tasted like white rice to me).

I got a pork burrito with black beans, pico de gallo, salsa verde, and cheese and my friend got a chicken burrito with rice, refried beans, pico de gallo, salsa verde, corn and black bean salsa, and cheese. Both meat choices were good but incredibly salty. Both of the beans were pretty bland and a little over cooked but decent overall. All three salsa choices were great. The burritos came with chips that weren't very good but added some crunch and a tiny side of salsa verde. We also got a side of guacamole which was the best I've had in Beijing. My friend got rice pudding for desert that was so-so.

So we got 2 burritos with chips, 2 drinks, a side of guacamole, and desert for 86 kwai which I would say is a pretty good deal. I would give this place 5 stars if they would make the meat less salty and add some Tabasco sauce choices like Chipotle has. I'll definitely be going back to try some of their other items like the fish tacos.
