Went over with a Chinese friend a couple of nights ago, arrived about 8.30pm. This place is tiny, with just 4 round tables and 8 chairs squeezed in, but that's OK.

We ordered the Beef & Water chestnut (these are boiled then pan fried) and they were good.
The pork and green beans (steamed), which were also good, packed with filling though my Chinese friend thought the filling was a little dry. I liked them!
And finally, the organic mixed veg (steamed), at 32rmb for 10 (nearly the most expensive on the menu). These are a mixture of aubergine/egg plant and other veggies. When they came, the aubergine had melted completely and the dumplings had swelled with their soupy-goo filling; Chinese friend didn't like them at all. I had a few, but the consistency of the aubergine doesn't seem to me to suit being inside a dumpling.

Service was slow. Sauces, 1 free per set of dumplings, were ok. The soy & sesame the best of the lot; a spicy pepper one and pretty tasteless satay are also available.

Price for 3 plates (10 good-sized dumplings on each) and 2 bottles of water: 85rmb.

All the ingredients tasted fresh and it's nice to support a restaurant that is using organic produce, and actually trying to be more environmentally aware with its packaging etc.
