Hey all,

I recently talked to the new manager Eric who seems to have resolved all the problems. Unfortunately I didn't get to make it in to the place to see how he has changed things. Thus, I refrained from rating in stars, but am happy to report the previous problems with the management have been vastly improved.

Thanks

Tim

Dear Tim,

THe chinese people see in us (foreigners in China)as potential customers that have tons of money.. They try to take as much money as they can.. THats the china Tim, chinese people hate us.. THe only thing they screw smiling faces is ONLY because of our wallet.. They dont know that not ALL of us are rich.. the majority of foreigners in beijing are students expats.. OK Tim, only thing i wanna say is: "Welcome 2 Beijing"..
Find the way to survive in this such a cruel and heartless country..
Good luck Tim,

Best wishes,

MY GOD! THIS IS HORRIFIC I cannot believe how you have been treated. I hope your Embassy is taking up your case with the appropriate Chinese Authorities.

I am so pleased that you have managed to recover from your traumatic experience enough to share it with the rest of us. This has to be one of the most appalling stories I have heard in China. I think you are very brave to have gone through this ordeal and still have the courage to be able to talk about it publicly.

I think I speak for the rest of the community when I wish you all the best in the future and hope that you are able to put this unpleasant event behind.

Chin up and best of luck. Let's hope you don't loose face again in the future.

I agree wholeheartedly with Heping's comment.

However, I do believe that you need to pursue this guy with a fairly high degree of vehemence - he simply should not be allowed to get away with using an English-language bar menu which exhibits such deficient levels of specificity.

If you don't get any joy from your embassy, then you ought to seriously consider contacting a good lawyer. And it's not just about them helping you to recover your lost RMB20 (nearly US$3.20), it's also about getting compensated for the psychological trauma that the guy has caused you.

All I can say is good luck for the future, but also thank you for taking up your valuable time and letting us all know about the dreadful and unfair way in which you have been treated.

It looks like this is the last straw with regards to China, the International community will no longer put up with this sort of behaviour.

Ban Ki Moon cut short Iranian proliferation talks in order to table an emergency UN meeting where members agreed to put into action 'Operation Jason'. Combined Mossad, SAS and KSK forces have been assembled in order to take appropriate action.

Bob Geldof has also stepped up to the plate calling this 'the worst humanitarian crisis since Ethiopia.'

'Tim Aid' concerts are now being planned in London, New York, Moscow, Tokyo and Sydney as the world unites against this horrific atrocity.
