Good food, bad service

I went there for a date. We got seated by the window...big mistake, as the building looks like a giant disco karaoke from outside, and the restaurant being all white, you get the feeling you're in some kind of green disco moonland.
I read somewhere that this place was a date place, I came there during the week so not ready to drink a lot of alcohol, but ready to spend on glasses depending on the dishes. Unfortunately Parfum only has one cheap (the cheapest) open wine for red and white... that is a little disappointing when you know the kitchen is supposed to be refined. So finally I decided to go for the Champagne and out of the 6 bottle in the menu they only had 2.
Then we ordered, the menu is simple and not very typical French except the Foie Gras almost everywhere (which is not bad actually).
The first starters arrived before the Champagne, the champagne was not in a ice bucket but just standing on the table so by the third glass it was warm...
I ordered snails and had to wait 10 min to get the bread that goes with it.
Apart from these bad service problems the food was very good....but there are other French restaurants with the same quality of food in town, and some even know what customer service means.
