When I had some friends from home visit, I wasn't sure about what duck restaurant to take them to. After hearing so many mixed reviews about Quanjude & Da Dong, I decided to take a chance and go to this place after reading some of the good reviews here.

We went to the location at Shuangjing around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. The place was deserted but the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Although it took about 45 minutes for the duck to come out, we were warned ahead of time and decided to eat some snacks and other dishes to pass the time. It didn't seem long at all before the duck came out because we were enjoying the other dishes so much; they were all delicious. The duck itself had plenty of meat on it allowing all five of us to enjoy plenty of Beijing duck wraps. It was a great duck. Not to mention, the total bill for our meal for 5 people came to about 350RMB. I would imagine the same meal would be cost twice as much at either Quanjude or Da Dong.

Overall, it was a fantastic meal and I am definitely going there for my next Beijing duck craving.
