My girlfriend and I checked this place out last night after reading some of the reviews here. WOW, it was the bomb. BBQ cheese fries were excellent, as was the BBQ chicken sandwich that I tried. We're gonna hit those guys up for some ribs next time.
Decent beer selection as well, you got your Brooklyn Lager, some Rogue Dead Guy...nice. Totally reasonable prices for a Western restaurant as well, I've paid more for meals of much lower quality at other restaurants. Service was fast and friendly, we met one of the owners and he seemed like a nice dude.
This place can be tricky as hell to find if you've never been. Basically if you're facing Kro's, you wanna head left until you see an alleyway entrance to your right. Then just poke around in that alley until you find a small gate - beyond that gate, there's a whole strip of restaurants, including Home Plate. These are the least-helpful directions ever.
