Dry, mediocre sandwiches. For an outfit billing themselves as the sandwich specialists, they're not trying very hard.
The atmosphere is great and a great view to watch the world go by in the busy strewn below. Their cocktail two for one deal is great, a super long island ice tea.
Is hercules under new management? In it's heyday their was a friendly guy with a ponytail, this evening just a stern looking Chinese guy guarding the till. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak, which came out stinking of Chinese lamb, I took a bite, most certainly lamb..
After a bit of back and forth with the floor staff who treated me like a crazy person.. "look at the menu, it says beef!" (no shit) I convinced them to double check with the chef..LAMB. While they let me reorder, there were no explainations or apologies, especially from the grim looking manager who was clearly intent on ensuring every jiao went counted, too busy to talk to the customers.
Left after eating half a shitty chicken teriaki sandwich. Awesome cocktails though.
I won't eat here again unless someone can vouch for the meat they put in their sandwiches. Food scare anyone?
