When you walk into vics it feels more like walking into a prison with big headed yet not that big security guards, and then you pay 50 kuai step up to be patted down by security. Walk down some stairs and hear real bad selection of music to see a relatively empty dance floor. The bartenders are slow and paying 35 kuai for a crappy import beer sucks.

Id say the crowd is a mixed bag about 10% are back packers and tourists who read about Vics in a travel book , 20% prostitutes from ex soviet countries. 30% creepy old men from around the world whom converge on this very location, 35% rich chinese men with their ladies on VIP tables with a huge platter of fruits drinking tea and occasionally leaving the the VIP table to go to the bathroom.

5% regular girls whom are there every single night, one of the few women that you can find out later that you don't have one but two STD's. As a warning they will be the sad depressed chinese girl who looks like she is getting around 30, sitting by herself or one other equally sad friend at the bar looking for their next victim.

true.....first time i went there was 2005...it was still ok..later it started getting boring...

location, location, location.....
