Both the place and the beers are winners.
Beers last weekend were: Oatmeal Porter, Chocolate Stout, Pumpkin Ale and Cinnamon Ale. Everything has great flavor, Chocolate and Cinnamon were the best, the chocolate was a nice stout with more of a depth of flavor than any big chocolate notes, the cinnamon was similar to holiday seasonal blends you get in the states, again there was no overpowering spice but a nice complexity. Pumpkin was probably the strongest flavor-wise and a must try for anyone that likes pumpkin beers in general. The oatmeal porter was heavy on the malts and a more aggressive porter than you'll find most anywhere else.
The place has as much personaliy as their beers and with no heating and limited seating we were crowded around the tiny bar drinking our pints with hats and gloves on. A nice place to spot in for a drink or two during the winter, and it looks like it'll be a great place to spend an afternoon when the weather warms up.
