I was slightly surprised by the food when I finally tried this place. Other reviews have likened the place to McD. level which I think it is far from.
The burgers are more diner style, as opposed to the behemoth ones that you'll get at restaurants. They are smaller, and the hamburger is decent though lacks much flavor. It's topped with lettuce, tomato, relish, pickle, and the slightest bit of mayo which gives it a fresh taste that definitely is not found in other fast food joints. The fries and onion rings are both tasty, favorites being the onion ring which are large rings of onion, lightly coated, and fried. Overall, its worth an occasional splurge, especially since it's not something that I crave or miss after a few weeks.
The stand out was their chocolate shakes. They are pretty good, though not as great as farm stand frappes, but enough to hit the spot during the summer.
