I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but I found the setup adorable, especially with the way you can see the brick oven from the dining room. It was a Saturday evening, but my friend and I were the only diners, and I can't understand why. The menu has lots of options, I was impressed with the range of dishes, and the prices weren't bad. Oh, and there was fried mozzarella. You don't find that often in Beijing- and they did it pretty well. The service was quick (though, not like they had anyone else to take care of). My pasta was great- not a huge portion, but I didn't go hungry. I had the spinach and ricotta tortellini in pink sauce, which is an example of the interesting dishes they include on their menu-- definitely more choices than your run-of-the-mill italian eatery.
If it weren't so far from where I live, I'd definitely go back there to eat often.
