Disappointing roast

Guess we shouldn't expect great food from a pub. The Sunday lunch was a steal with 2 courses at 80rmb, or so we thought. Our hopes of enjoying a homely Sunday roast here vanished when the food finally arrived after a 45min wait. The lamb was bone dry after extended irradiation under a heat lamp. The chicken was barely better and the less said about that tin can masquarading as a "Yorkshire pudding" the better. Service by our nervous server was erratic.

The only bright spot (literally) was enjoying the last bit of sunshine al fresco this Sunday before winter sets in next week. Maybe we should have stuck to drinks here after a better lunch elsewhere.

FANTASTIC BAR AND LOVE THE BEER SELECTION BUT WHAT A TERRIBLE ATTEMPT AT A SUNDAY LUNCH. MEET WAS DRY AND STALE AND THE PORTIONS OF YORKSHIRE PUDDING WAS BARELY ENOUGH TO FILL A TABLE SPOON. NOT SURE WHERE THEY GOT THEIR INFO ABOUT BRITISH ROASTS BUT THINK THEY NEED TO DO MORE RESEARCH HERE. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT TO MY ENEMIES.
