Why it's never a good idea to consult with Disney on historic sites

Dashilan'r 2.0 is probably impressive if you're on your first visit to the capital from as part of a tour group from Ningxia or somewhere out in the hinterlands, but even so, one wonders if the sheer artificiality might still leave an impression on even the most neophyte of visitors. This place is pure, adulterated MSG - poorly conceived with the results to match. Every "luxury" brand store and business in this strip must be kicking itself for getting rooked into signing a lease here.
